Academic background:
Nurse-Midwife UC (2007) and Doctor of Science from the School of Nursing of the University of São Paulo (2017). She is an Instructor of the Billings Ovulation Method and has three Diplomas related to her teaching and clinical area.

Associate Professor.

Research activities and publications (last 5 years):

  • Her line of research is Chronic Health Conditions and/or Health Promotion, specifically in topics related to women’s health.
  • In this period, she has been adjudicated 3 research projects with funding from the SoN as principal investigator. Most of her projects contribute to the development of women’s health.
  • She is author of 2 publications, indexed in ISI/Scopus (1 as main author).

Undergraduate and graduate teaching activities (last 5 years):

  • Undergraduate teaching and coordination of courses in the area of nursing care and gynecology: “Nursing Care and Nursing Profession and Discipline”, “Nursing Care in Women and Newborn”, “Nursing Care in Women with Gynecological-Obstetric Problems”, “Adult Inpatient Hospital Internship”, ” Inpatient Hospital Internship for Women”, “Outpatient Internship for Women”, “Self-Care and Active Participation in the Process of Pregnancy and Childbirth” and “Natural Regulation of Fertility”.
  • In addition to being a guest lecturer in other undergraduate courses on topics related to women’s health. She has been adjudicated 2 projects for the implementation of improvements in the teaching-learning processes financed by the UC (one as coordinator).
  • In postgraduate teaching, she has participated as a doctoral thesis evaluator in the Doctoral Program in Nursing at the Universidad Andrés Bello in 2019 and 2020.

Extension and networking activities (last 5 years):

  • She has 3 presentations in scientific events, 1 in international events.
  • She is a member of the International Society for Quality of Life (ISOQOL) and the Urogynecology and Pelvic Floor Society of Chile. In 2019, she assessed Roche Laboratory in the training for the implementation of the Human Papillomavirus Test in 15 Health Services nationwide.
