  • His line of research is psychosocial outcomes in family members of intensive care unit patients.
  • He has been awarded 3 research projects, 1 as principal investigator and 2 as an alternate investigator (funded by PUC School of Nursing).
  • He is the author of 12 scientific publications, 9 indexed in ISI/Scopus as the first author, and 3 scientific publications indexed in other databases (1 as the first author).
  • He is co-author of the “Recommendations for the Care and Support of Relatives of Patients with a COVID-19 Diagnosis” of the Chilean Society of Intensive Care Medicine.
  • He has participated as a peer reviewer in the journals “Enfermería Intensiva”, “Nursing Research” and “Benessere”.

Activities in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching (last 5 years)

  • He teaches in the “Research Methodology” undergraduate course. At the graduate level, he teaches the course “Advanced Quantitative Research Methodology”.
